Need to hire the following candidates to work in Kuwait state 12 – Junior Database Administrator (IT Department ) Job Description Facilitate communication across the ITS infrastructure areas and development teams to ensure delivery and alignment. Duties and Responsibilities • 24/7 support of production database services to ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required by our business systems. • Design, development and administration of Oracle databases. • Performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of Oracle databases. • Management and maintenance of back-ups & recovery procedures. • Installation and maintenance of database server, replication and client environments. • Reviewing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code. • Designing database packages and procedures. • Security and access control. • Provision of support and assistance to development team in the design, development, testing, tuning and implementation of database applications • Creation and maintenance of SQL queries and routines • Provisioning of (database) development and testing environments. • Writing ad-hoc queries based on schema knowledge for various reporting requirements. Writing / Tuning data ingestion procedures from external suppliers and partners using PL/SQL, sql loader, 3rd party tools (Toad). • Required to deal with complex data models and object relational database mapping, while producing complex reports Skills • At least 3 years of oracle DBA experience. • Must have worked with newer versions of Oracle such as 10g and/or 11g. • Demonstrated ability to translate/communicate complex concepts to peers and business partners • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadlines, interruptions, and multiple tasks/projects occurring at once • Demonstrated ability to leverage and mentor others through technical team leadership Education • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. • Recognized expertise in one or more application areas and/or technology disciplines. • Advanced degree in Business or Information Technology preferred Send your c.v to email : arabiangulf87@gmail Tel: 01125705848
