Nepal is a most Attractive Travel Destination in this Planet: Nepal is a beautiful country located in South Asia between China in the North and India in the South. It is covering the area of 1 47181 sq. km. The elevation of Nepal starts from 60m Jhapa to at 8,848m Mt. Everest the highest point above sea level. Hence, Nepal is also regarded as Land of Mt. Everest. The population of Nepal is about 30 million. Nepal is consisted of more than 1 hundred different ethnic races of people. Therefore she has a diverse cultural richness to promote tourism through cultural exchange with world people. The Cultural and historical Shrines can be seen as scattered all over the country. Nepal is recognized the birthplace of Lord Buddha who is also known as the 'light of Asia.' All religions in Nepal are respected by people of different religious groups among one another and live together with peace and great harmony.The natural beauty of Nepal is influenced by a large number of visitors in all over the world. Despite Nepal being a land locked country, she has a vast array of geographical and biological diversities. Among the 49 least developed United Nation’s Member countries, Nepal is one of the least developed Member countries. The ecological zone of Nepal is stretched from east to west. It covers 1800km in horizontal exis with Trans-Himalayan ranges. Great Himalayan Trail has been invented for three months trekking. This is the longest trekking route in Nepal for adventure travellers. Mid hills and valleys covered in terraced paddy fields and surrounded by forested watersheds. Geographically, the 3000m above comprises alpine pastures, sub-alpine forests with tree line. The above 4000m to 5500m high passes considered as snow line. Nepal holds the so called “Water Towers of South Asia” with its 6000 rivers which are snow-fed and dependent on rain. Nepal is therefore known as second rich in water resources. The perennial rivers include Mahakali, Karnali, Narayani, Koshi, Rapti, Bagmati, Kamala, Kankai, Mechi. These rivers originated from Himalayan mountains through melting of ice glaciers. Beside several hundreds of lakes. There are more than 40 huge lakes in Nepal. They are namely: Gokyo lake, Imja lake, Phoksumdo lake, Rara lake, Gosaikund Lake, Tilicho lake, Panch Pokhari lake, Dhud Pokhari lake, Damodar Kund lake, Phewa lake, Begnas lake, Rupa lake, Manang lake, and Godagodi lake. These lakes are located at various regions of Nepal. There are a great number of famous caves in Nepal. Caves are visited by pilgrims and tourists to experience its importance . Mustang is famous for caves because many historical caves can be seen in Mustang. During ancient time people lived in the caves for retreat as well as protect from harsh weather of mountains. To conserve biological diversities, Nepal has established National Parks. She has nine National Parks, 3 Reserves and 4 Conservation Areas to protect the ecosystem and bio-diversities. Nepal is total home of 167 species of mammals, 50 amphibian, 130 reptiles and 863 species of colourful birds. Among the 6000 species of plants, 245 species of plants are found in Nepal. According to research studies, a total of 118 ecosystem, 75 vegetation and 35 forest types have been identified in Nepal. The endangered animals like Royal Bengal Tiger, One-horned Rhinos, Red Panda and snow leupard make Nepal a great distinct detination for visitors and reaserchers.
