Network ‘Ethical Dinners’ ~ Bookings Now Being Taken! All organisation and planning for these excellent events are now finalised, which are being held at Liverpool’s historic and famous Athenaeum Club. These will still only cost £25 per person for a 3-course meal (pay for your own drinks separately), but that each evening will now have a specific ethical/social/professional focus. Also, whilst each event will still provide the relaxed, informal, and convivial atmosphere in which to network, meet new people, and do a little business, we will also have the opportunity to hear from, and engage with, significant, senior professionals. In so doing we shall also be addressing issues that enable us, as business people from all sectors, to be more effective in what we do, but to the benefit of society and not at its expense. The first of these takes place on Thursday 4th July ~ and is entitled: ‘Rebuilding Trust’ – The Need for Demonstrable Ethics and Morality in Business; The evening begins at 7.00pm, with arrival and cocktails; Followed by dinner at 7.30pm; Our guest Panellists, will be taking questions from the floor from 9.00 to 10.00pm. These guests will be: Mr Zia Chaudhry LLB Hons, Barrister, Spirit of Cordoba Christopher Gibaud, North West Christian Business Forum Victor Huglin, Liverpool Businessperson Chris Burgess - Director and National Counsellor for The Federation of Small Business These dinners are being organised in partnership with Keith Hitchman, from River in the City (Diocese of Liverpool) and, as with everything that we do in The Knowledge, they will be non-party political, and ideologically independent and non-aligned.
