Never too old to learn to learn two things , actually three . Getting paid to do two days of work orientation right in the Peoples homes thursday and Friday , im excited but a little nervous. and when I left work and not sure about something Rather than they get anxious I will pause , reflect , think it through , take a deep breath. , center myself , remember my training etc. and ask Guru Jesus for help then proceed. Also learned the importance of symbolism again. Reading about in 1800s the kingdom of Hawaii was annexed by the United States illegally . A combination of missionaries and The owners of sugar plantations influence this . So of the owners were missionaries. They used some US Marines of American navy to do this . In the 1990s two Hawaiian senators got Pres. Bill Clinton to sign into law and issue an apology and proclamation to the Hawaiian people for United States for illegally and wrongly annexing their nation back in 1890s. Even with symbolism these things can bring peace. I cried when I learned this part of history how Christians working with industrialist s at the time did this in sin . I was ignorant and did not know this . That is why I cried. And here in the century the born again Christians and industrialist Are working with the Republican Party in United States to do the same thing. Look at the mess they left in a Iraq and its causing now. Bush Cheney Rumsfeld legacy . The city of Mosul fell in Iraq to that extreme group. As a footnote half million Iraqi Christians lived there but fled . The mainstream news media left this point out. . Back in the early 2000 there were some progressive Christian speaking out against going to war with the Iraq , what they said has come home to roost. Americas second Vietnam failure in the 21st century . But Im happy to be on right side of history and promote love peace and work with who anyone will do this. This includes my new job too honoring and working with seniors. Sorry for ranting on. Its true what they say ignorance is bliss and its good sometimes not to know whats going on in the world But because of my autism thats my specialty and I am history cultural political economic geek and nerd and know what is going on around the world.
