This one is about what it means when one company, Pearson, has what is at least approaching a vertical monopoly (as we called it back in my law school Antitrust class) over the education universe. For those who dont know, Pearson writes many of the textbooks, Pearson writes the standardized tests, Pearson writes the remedial software and curriculum for the kids who dont pass the standardized tests.
