New Job Sales Engineer - Japanese Speaking - PTR14/664 Industry: Sales Job Type: Permanent Location: Swindon, England Salary: £25000 - £30000 per annum Japanese Speaking Sales Engineer Swindonto £30k + car + benefits Our multi million pound globally renowned client demonstrates more than 40 years experience in the provision of product procurement, distribution and logistics services to clients around the world, and as a result of continuing success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic CE Engineer to complement their established and highly successful Die and Machinery team to support the expansion of the CE Marking business in both Europe and Japan. It is important to note that due to the nature of the role, travel within the UK, Europe and Japan will be required - as well as the ability to communicate fluently in Japanese. Whilst the role requires the successful candidate to have a recognised engineering qualification, you will receive training to enable development into a technical sales engineer (including CE Marking), and once trained, you will support the development of new business for CE Marking, conducting customer and supplier visits to discover new business and both identifying and developing engineering projects for new and existing customers. You will be responsible for supporting equipment installation projects and developing, maintaining and improving relationships with customers and suppliers, demonstrating appropriate commercial awareness whenever necessary and ensuring that the companys commercial position is safeguarded at all times. You will be adept in identifying any potential problems with suppliers or customers and taking appropriate actions (if necessary involving management in the decision making process) and responsible for coordinating all aspects of your allocated customer / supplier base. To be considered for this varied, exciting and challenging role within a globally renowned market leader, you will demonstrate proven previous Sales experience as well as equipment implementation project experience, be fluent in Japanese and English and have the ability to work in the UK without restriction. Experience of working in a manufacturing or Engineering environment is preferable, as is an understanding of CE Marking activity, alongwith a recognized qualification in engineering (mechanical or electrical engineering).
