We are seeking an experienced SaaS Sales Engineer as our client expands; they require an engineer experienced in supporting the delivery of services and products to customers in the broadcast and video streaming industry. Working closely with sales, marketing, product management, and engineering, the engineer will be the primary technical contact while engaging prospective customers, acting as the subject matter expert throughout the sales process, assessing the customers requirements and effectively communicating how the solution will fit into their business needs. The successful Sales Engineer will be responsible for: *Work with the sales team to engage prospective customers and understand their business both technically and commercially to identify their requirements and plan solutions *Demonstrate solutions on-site and remotely *Consult existing clients on their current usage, suggesting improvements *Open discussion between Customers, Product Management, Professional Services, and Engineering departments to address technical questions and concerns *Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the product suite *Run proof of concept engagement projects Required experience for the Sales Engineer position includes: *Significant customer-facing engineering experience at a leading technology company *Confident and fluent writing, speaking, and presenting on technical subjects *Knowledge of Digital Video infrastructure (CDNs, IPTV, OTT, VOD, preparation, delivery, and distribution) *Experience with big data processing and global internet infrastructure *Willingness to travel up to 30% in the US *Experienced using MS Office, especially Powerpoint and Excel In return they offer a competitive salary with extensive benefits including a 401(k), paid holiday, health benefits, and a fantastic work environment (with catered lunches daily and pool tables!).
