New PDP Merge With APC A Selfish Allaince, Says Aluko. The former deputy governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Abiodun Aluko, has described the merger of the Alhaji Abubakar Baraje-ledNew PDPwith the APC as a selfish alliance that could not stand the test of time. Aluko spoke on Wednesday in a statement made available to journalists in Ado Ekiti, the state capital by his Special Assistant on Media, Dele Owoyomi. The statement read, “The move was a calculated attempt to frustrate the unity of the country which would soon collapse like a pack of cards.”
