New Years Eve and time to reflect. There have been good things and bad things this year. The biggest good thing was timed with the biggest loss for me. On June 27th at 11:14am my daughter was born and at 11:53am that same day I lost my father. Looking back it was a blessing followed by bad news. I surely miss my father and wish he couldve met Brooklyn however it is Gods plan not my own that I follow. Also this year I along with the remainder of the 60th Virginia Infantry Co K decided to discontinue activities as an independent reenactment and merge with the 51st VA Co D. We will do some events as the 60th VA Co K but in most reenactments we will be 51st VA. This was partly out of being nessecary. The choice was the memberships not the leaderships. We felt we could do better with a larger group then what we had showing to most events. Thats my year.
