New York Jets running back Joe McKnight was arrested last week in New Jersey for unpaid fines, according to Brian Costello of the New York Post. After McKnight was stopped by police for speeding and changing lanes without signaling on July 30, two outstanding warrants were discovered by police, according to the report. One was for failing to pay a $200 fine after not showing proof of insurance. Another was for failing to pay a $120 ticket for not observing a traffic signal in Springfield, New York. McKnight was reportedly brought to the police station before being released on $320 bail, the combined price of the tickets. That included a summons for an unsafe lane change and uninsured motor vehicle. The 2010 fourth-round pick has not had the smoothest offseason, to put it lightly. He first failed his conditioning test in training camp, then apparently was held out of practice on Monday after suffering a concussion, per Rich Cimini of ESPN.
