New to the Big League Bomb Family? Here is some information about the Bomb events: The Big League Bomb is a Homerun Derby put on by the Big League store to try to raise money for ALS. There is a cost for each contestant to enter and by entering you automatically get 1 point. ANY bat is allowed at the game. Every homerun you hit during a Bomb is worth 1 point. In the first round everyone gets 5 swings and the person with the most homeruns wins. If there is a tie, the contestants who are tied will have 3 swings in the second round. If there is still a tie each contestant will have 1 swing to try to break the tie and they will keep going back an forth in a sudden death style until a winner is determined. Homeruns past the first round DO NOT count towards the contestants total. The contestant that wins the Bomb gets a bonus 5 points for winning for a maximum of 11 points. The points collected from the Bomb Qualifier games determine your spot at the Home Run Derby in September. The Home Run Derby is where you have a chance to win some big money.
