News Monday May 5th Isle of Lewis to shift This week sees the last sailing of the MV Isle of Lewis from Pier No 3. The regular Stornoway-Ullapool service will make its final departure from the usual ferry terminal on Thursday 8th May at 7.00am. The midday arrival on Thursday will go to Pier 1 with all subsequent ferry sailings using this Pier. Pier no 3 is in the process of redevelopment ready for the arrival of the MV Loch Seaforth in late summer. European election vote deadline Tomorrow is the deadline for voters to ensure they are on the Electoral Register so that they can use their democratic right to vote in the European Elections on May 22nd. Anyone who has completed a voter registration form and has not moved house since should already be registered, but if you are in any doubt, go to the About My Vote website (and you should do that now) or call the local Electoral Registration Officer in Stornoway on 706262.
