Next week I have owned Khan for 2 months....he has done very well in the short time I have owned him. He has taken to the saddle like a duck to water, he backs up at the wiggle of a finger, only occasionally tries to push into me...whereas he always done it when he first arrived and doesnt try taking me for walks when leading him unless he feels something is going to eat him. I am very proud of both Khan and myself as I never thought I could do what I have done with him. It may be taking me longer than most people but considering I am only a confident beginner to intermediate rider I think I have done great :-) Question Time: Now that I am riding him a little more I am upping his feed, when I got him I was told he was on the light side for weight...I think he has put on weight since being here...What do you more experienced people think....I do know he could do with more weight and I am sure in time it will come. Also in the 3rd and 4th photo it shows how prominent his hips are....is that just due to him needing more weight as well ??? I ask as our other standy looks the same so not sure what the go is there as our TB doesnt look that way. Cheers for the help :-)
