Your work over the past twenty-five years has been nothing short of extraordinary. Congratulations on your groundbreaking initiatives to raise awareness of tick-borne illnesses and promote research for diagnostic tests and treatments. I was diagnosed last year with Lyme disease after four years of health problems and misdiagnosis. In the past year, I have recovered substantially and have quickly taken on Lyme advocacy roles. I am even more motivated to work hard knowing that you have supported patients and gone head-to-head with doubters over the past twenty-five years. Thank you for all of the critical work that you do.
