Nice training day! We now have the full crew for the worlds on board. Some nice tacking out of the Kieler Foerde, imaginary spreaders after real life windward marks, nice and clear hoists of the kite, new stay sail up while rushing downwind, saw the 16kts on the speedo, and a very fast approaching shore. Kites went down really quickly today but handled smoothly just on time - what lasted longer was the big grin on our faces :) Even though we still had some boatkeeping to do big grins were all around on the jetty. The atmosphere is great, very international and we are looking forward to tomorrow s practice race and meet the other crews for a beer or two at the welcome party tomorrow night!
