Nick: 5 Years ago I sat at my desk and started compiling the details on what I wanted to build for the model industry. I focused on the budding amateur sector and providing them a healthy and effective means of self promotion, career advancement, compensation and most importantly safety. The industry is littered with unscrupulous participants whos real motives are hidden to us, it was my objective to create a venue that solidified its purpose by being healthy and without those with less than stellar purpose. From that concept Modelemi was born. We went to soft launch early 2013 and full production just months later in September. My photography is a complimentary creative outlet to my involvement in the financial markets and since September life changing opportunities have arisen from my financial career. Thus now days my time is rather limited, but even though, I wanted Modelemi to continue its good will and focus towards making the industry reputable by engaging new standards of operation. A dear friend of mine has taken the reigns of Modelemi so I can focus on my financial research and hedge fund investment trading. I know without a doubt that Tim Bear will handle Modelemi the same way that I would. Its the only reason Modelemi was offered to him. There will be some upcoming changes to Modelemi, one of which will be the first all exclusive model/photographer magazine. This magazine will be the first of its kind in the industry. It focuses on actual model/photographer life to help all upcoming models get a feel for the industry as well as help boost some confidence. Ive asked Hans to be my editor for the magazine, which he graciously accepted. We also have two surprise icons in the industry that are also on board. We now have contacts in the commercial print markets as well as promotional modeling market. (More of this to come..)
