Nick Mancuso had a tiny time advantage over R. Ferri Motorsports teammate and fellow Motegi Racing wheels driver Anthony Lazzaro during Friday’s Pirelli World Challenge practice at Detroit Belle Isle. Mancuso was third quickest overall in his No. 16 Ferrari 458 GT3 Italia at 1:33.360 = 90.617 mph while Lazzaro was fifth best at 1:34.291 = 89.722 mph in his No. 61 Ferrari. Lazzaro leads the Pirelli World Challenge GT point standings and Mancuso is sixth heading into Saturday’s race. DragonSpeed’s Henrik Hedman was 14th in his No. 10 Ferrari at 1:38.219 = 86.314 mph.
