Nicole Moffis scored 22 points and the Cook Inlet Academy girls slipped by Scammon Bay 45-39 in 1A girls consolation play at West High School. Scammon Bay stormed back after trailing by as many as 16 to take a 38-37 in the fourth quarter on a 3-pointer from Mariah Charlie. Charlie knocked in three triples in the fourth quarter and finished with 11 to lead Scammon Bay. CIA sank 7-of-10 at the foul line over the final minutes to stay in front. The Lady Eagles will play district rival Nikolaevsk for the consolation championship Wednesday at 11:20 a.m. at the Sullivan Arena.
