Regrettably I missed the all night tribute for Baba Omojola yesternight @ Ola Oni Center, so painful, while still ruminating on the sudden death of Baba which still remain a mirage and the unfortunate death of his counterpart from SCON, Prof Festus Iyayi who was killed by the convoy of governor Idris Wada , of Kogi State, my sorrow still mostly hang on the unresolved national questions which hasted their death , so voluminous but the most urgent is the Nigeria doomed economy, and the impending crash economy, since June this year, FG allocation states and LG has permanently become a disaster with reckless deduction from the source, before, they said oil theft responsible for it, but NNPC said it has remitted above the projected revenue this year, likewise custom services has remitted far above projected revenue, but consistently Iweala is assuring that all is well, all is well ? when a state that deserved N4 Billion are getting N2, Billion, when except Lagos which will be even very difficult is the only state that can pay salary without federal allocation, most Nigeria states are now in abyss of debt to pay salary only which the only source that pumps money to the economy, in many states the consequence are so obvious, markets are dry, artisan are even victim of this mess but Nigerians are paying little attention to this dangerous trend. outside jamboree senate and Rep enquirers, labour, civil society and concern people must rise aginst this my next piece will be titled Nigeria is broke
