#NigeriaYouthArise# and say NO to CarelessnessCluelessnessCalousnessCorruptionLawlessness It is very pathetic to note that a lot of Nigerians like to tribalise and put sentiments into every corrupt cases we have witness under this current government. It is a high time we start calling a spade by its name – A thief is a thief. For so long we have tribalise our destiny as Nigerians, the resultant effect is visible and glaring before all of us – Young and old. For a serving minister to waste a whopping sum of 10Billion Naira for the maintenance of her personal private jet is not only carelessness and corruption, it is the height of callousness and corruption - I only wish I am dreaming, to wake up and find out that this is not true. We need a government that can sincerely fight and tackle corruption head long. President Goodluck Jonathan should succinctly sieve his government and have an overt attack on corruption – Stop this lawlessness. His comment about the level of corruption under his administration is not, and never a welcome development. I don’t seem to understand what the President meant by corruption in Nigeria is largely overblown out of proportion – A careless - disappointing statement that make sense only to the fools. None the less, it is never a surprise to me. There is the likelihood that those whom we see and we are blaming could actually be ‘the hunting dogs’ for the President – The more we look, the less we see, comprehend and understand. Because the hunter will never blame his dog for killing a grass cutter in the forest. The degree of corruption under President Goodluck Jonathan led administration is alarming, breath taking and mind bugling – From the Security and Exchange Commission scam, subsidy scam, Pension Trust Fund scam, Aviation Scam, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation scam, and most recently the Nigerian Immigration Service recruitment scam. Billions of dollars have been stash away, no one is talking, no one is asking questions why Nigerians are suffering and smiling – After all ‘he go better na im be poor man prayer’ – The Nigerian masses prayer! One of the greatest problems bedeviling Nigeria is not just corruption but parochial ethnic chauvinism, groundless nepotism, pointless favoritism and primordial sentiments. These have really blinded folded our eyes, to the extent that we can no longer unite with one voice to fight and kick out the canker-worm called corruption form a midst us. Let us all arise, with one voice fight and banish corruption and all the perpetrators of corruption a midst us. This is the only way we – You and I can impact in the entire political process of Nigeria and bring the desired change we have long awaited for – A New Nigeria Our destiny is in our hands – We can either TAKE it or TRADE it.
