Nine years ago today was an eventful day. One hurricane had passed and another one Hurricane Frances, was very alive on the radar screen and was destined to do some damage. But another and bigger event happened that day: God sent my fifth grandchild Isaac. I was honored in that his parents gave him my last name as his middle name. Isaac Boyd Teel! When we first saw him in his little carrier we saw his red hair and immediately the bond of love was there. My fourth grandson and fifth granchild was here. Finally! The next day Hurrican Frances hit the Orlando area and his parents, Doug and Lisa was held captive in the Winnie Palmer Hospital for four days. When they were finally released they were all sent home to a house that was hot and no electrictiy. Those things pass and we quickly started got to hold and love our new boy. Isaac quickly developed his interests. He went with Hampy (me) everywhere. He, my pickup, and I was on the go. He immediately became interested in John Deeres. He had John Deere on the brain! Anything, that resembled a mower or road machine was considered a John Deere, regardless of its color. Soon though he started becoming fascinated with trains. This interest gelled when his parents took him to see the trains in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. Since that time he and and have taken yearly pilgramages to Strasburg to see and ride the steam engines (he is a purest and loves only steam engines). What a memory. He knows more about steam engines that most experts in that field. Issac is a very intelligent guy with lots of opinions. He has opinions and shares them whether they want to be heard or not. At church he is active and his faith is developing. Certainly he is a leader. At school he is one of the best. He has received awards for his caring and leadership. He is a friend to all his classmates. His teachers and principal love him. He is a great brother and is very protective of Noah. But as a brother it is his responsibility to aggravate his brother and fight just to keep things in balance. To describe Isaac is impossible. As I said earlier, he is intelligent. But with that intelligence goes the ability to communicate (sometimes too honest), express himself, and care for others. But one of his main qualities is his ablity to love. He gives love and receives in in every way possible. Happy Birtday, Isaac! I love you very much and I thank God for blessing us with you. You make me very happy. Hampy
