No, I am /not/ Charlie: I find them a rather offensive and insulting publication. However, the entire point of freedom of speech isnt to defend speech you agree with - thats easy - its to defend speech you might despise. A lot of their publications were crude, vulgar and at times things I found disgusting. However, it is because of this, not in spite of it, that I think its critical that we turn out in support of their right to free speech. Because it is these cases where it really matters, and this is why we can /never/ tolerate or excuse tragedies like occurred yesterday. So no, I wont say I am Charlie, but I will certainly say I will stand with them.
