Join us for our new EFS interactive workshops that are tailored to help you realize the best roles and divisions suited to you. No prior knowledge is required, we welcome students from all years of study and disciplines. Limited spaces are available, and each session lasts 30 – 45 mins. You will be placed small groups where you will be able to ask questions freely and receive personal advice. 1. Derivatives Workshop: Introduction of different financial derivatives in trading; discover the purpose of each instrument; understand the meaning of hedging risks (Options, CDS, Forwards, and Swaps) 2. Markets Workshop: Introduction of the different functions in the markets division (Sales, Trading, Structuring); find out more regarding internship experiences and where your own interest lies; understand different financial assets (Fixed income, Commodity, Currency and Equities) 3. Energy & Oil Workshop: Introduction of different crude oil products; drivers of the commodities market; supply and demand; major historical events; opportunities in Energy and Oil trading Apply by sending an email titled “(Name of workshop_Your name_Year of Study” to Jinru.li@uclefs.
