No disrespect to HerHonor, but I have my own list of what I would have discussed. Dascos™ State of Las Vegas address: -The city is coming back from a recession, but to rebuild Las Vegas and keep it strong we need to support local businesses. We shouldnt spend all our money that is made on the Strip in other cities. -Increased police protection on the streets and patrolmen walking beats so they get to know people in neighborhoods..so they feel safe. -The Soccer Stadium initiative. Sounds good in theory - $200 million stadium and $144 million that taxpayers would have to front? Did I hear that correctly? Must go to the ballot. -Turn downtown, E. Fremont into a promenade and build more local storefront business. -Raise money for more music programs in the schools, so students can play instruments supplied by schools -Build another homeless shelter to take care of our own. -Tax street performers. If they cannot be eliminated, make money on them. -Keep the city clean and great with more recycling programs. -More funds for the city parks and rec to build basketball courts for midnight hoops leagues and soccer pitches I had to get some of this off my chest. A lot more and more to come. #Vegas
