No doubt many of you are participating in a Ride of Silence event this month. This ride is celebrating the memory of Matt Miller, an Elmira native and accomplished cyclist who was killed on April 24 by a driver who failed to yield when making a turn. NYBC stands with the family and friends of Matt Miller and the hundreds of other New Yorkers that have lost their lives while cycling to ensure that their deaths not be in vain but instead serve as a powerful catalyst for meaningful changes to increase cyclist safety.
