No fees,No Uniform, No Education ZAROBINSKI MINISTRY FOUNDATION (ZAMIFO) provide much needed clothing and school uniforms to allow pupils to attend school. Many schools do not allow children to attend unless they have a full uniform and school shoes. The costs of these items are very expensive by Tanzanian standards. Shoes cost $10 (£24) per pair. School blazers are $35 (£24) each for high school. We do everything we can to keep our costs down, for example, we try to ‘recycle’ uniforms as we visit more than 70 schools every month. Can you help Zarobinski Ministry Foundation ( to pay for school uniforms and shoes? Just $75 (£50) will provide a full uniform for a year, allowing these children to receive a good education. Who Needs School Uniforms? Without uniforms, children in Tanzania cannot go to school. In Tanzania there are three types of schools – Primary, Secondary and college education. Primary school students range in age from 7-14 years old. At the primary level, all students are required to wear black shoes and school uniforms. Secondary school students are from 15 to 18 years old. Most Secondary school pupils wear uniforms but there are private colleges or schools that allow pupils to dress in their formal clothing as they choose. Paying School Fees Zarobinski Ministry Foundation also pay school fees for children who otherwise could not afford them. It’s estimated that 1.5 million children need help to access education in Tanzania. School fees, stipulation of equipment, school uniforms and other basic equipment, and huge loss of qualified, experienced teachers are all major issues. On average, primary schools cost approximately US$35.50 per term, with secondary education in cities/towns costing approximately US$25.70 per term (three months). Can you help us by committing to pay the school fees for one or more children each term? Feeding Programme More than 1,000 children regularly receive food through ZAMIFO’s feeding programmes in schools, orphanages and children’s homes. Much of this food has been buying from the local market in Tanzania and some time USA on containers and is then distributed where the need the need is worst. More recently there is food available again in Tanzania so we are able to buy it locally with donations and distribute it more regularly. Can you sponsor the ZAMIFO feeding programme? – Just $15 (£10) per month can make a
