No home with dogs should be without this: when I moved into this home (with 8 Bichons)I was unaware that a little box of rat poison was left in a corner somewhere until the fluffs came running into the kitchen from the garage with one in the lead carrying the little yellow box, in shock - I put each one in separate crates asap with a shot of H peroxide - one thru up gobs of green - she got a 2nd shot of peroxide which thru up clear; put her and the one carrying the box and the box in the car and raced to the vets for treatment with charcoal(took the one carrying the box just in case and vet treated her also) I was lucky to have peroxide on hand or I would have had to take all 8 and teat them all -=which would have been very expensive. Just remember....Peroxide for treating swallowed poisons expires within 1 year per pharmacy - I replace my bottles when I replace batteries in smoke alarm and always keep 2; 1 in bathroom an 1 in kitchen.
