No matter how cute you think this is..... It can be deadly to the cockatoo. Cat saliva can cause death in a parrot within a matter of hours. Whether it be from direct contact, on their toys or food. Cats are natural predators and the bird could be killed in a matter of seconds if the cat decided to attack or play roughly. No matter how sweet your cat is or how long it has been interacting with the bird, all it takes is ONE instance and your bird is dead. Please DO NOT take the chance. Birds should NEVER interact with other species. And yes, the bird could hurt the cat.......
