No official diagnosis, yet my neck lump is so huge now that it hurts to hold my head up, swallow, and the ultrasound showed that it is a giant mass (duh). I am on a different course of antibiotics now, my surgery for Friday is officially cancelled until this problem is accurately diagnosed and treated. I guess I am doomed to never have surgery, as some deal breaker pops up at the last minute every time. At this stage, we are hoping its infectious, still. Cross your fingers that these antibiotics start to shrink it...
