No one showed up at the 8:00 am start time so I headed out by myself. Picked up Ralph at the EE Williamson intersection and he and I did Mandarin to get the rollers. Ralph spent the weekend in the Carolinas riding with his son and had one of the slow speed falls that have plagued us all at one time or another and had bruised his sit bones. When we got to Panera Linda D was sitting there drinking coffee waiting on us. Ralph turned around and headed for home and I joined Linda for coffee. After coffee we started north on International and Linda wanted to ride thru Heathrow, so we did. After about a mile and a half Linda wanted to know if I had left my camel back at Panera. Sure enough I had so we turned around and rode back to retrieve it. From there we decided to ride south and do a loop in Spring Oaks then north again to Winter Park Cycles to get some new gloves that I needed. Linda and I rode together back to Lake Mary where she stopped at David’s World Cycle to get a gear adjustment and I rode on home. The rain caught me about 2 miles from the house so I ducked into Burger King and waited it out. It was a great ride today and I hope to see everyone on the birthday boys ride Saturday.
