What people dont realise is that its not just doctors but all members in the health care team. I actually heard a qld senior health person responding to a question say nurses dont need education, they go to university hence the loss of nurse educator jobs. Its costs them so much in redundancies. The only benefits are for other states, where these redundant people are going with all their skills. I met a Medical records administrator in Tasie recently where both she and her husband had been made redundant from the same hospital, he was a community physio. They were cashed up with their VR money and travelling around till they started their new positions in Victoria When are these polies going to learn that their job is to provide service and service doesnt run at a profit!!
