No way! Simultaneous intellectual evolution or Aliens is far more likely than Humans once having been more than what they are now, I mean, come on now, really. Of course we had contact with each other as well as trade. Those Pyramids, though broken down, still generate electricity. We no longer use them to travel between places, but perhaps people will wake up, throw off the yoke of religious and govrenmental oppression and Braiwashing and just simply "Be" again.
