Non Baby Related Paternity Leave Observations (in no order of importance): 1.VH1 is way too keen on the Red Hot Chili Peppers Basement Tapes. This is a mistake on many levels. Just put a fork in these proto-hipster shirtless geezers...they done. 2. The soccer-mom-lulu lemon-brigade is legion in my neighborhood. They dont power walk so much as they Shuffle with entitlement. 3. Judge Joe Brown yelling Swrong Wif You!!?? at people is one of my new favorite things. God I wish that man was on the Supreme Court hearing the Hobby Lobby case 4. Breakfast at 11am is pretty nice 5. Jehovahs Witnesses must work the stay-at-home crowd pretty hard because theyre crawling all over. Must be some misplaced sense of purpose they think people will buy into. Everyone works an angle I guess. 6. Ham roll ups are amazing and this leave has left me with a resolve to make lots of ham roll ups from now till the day I die. Chalk it up. 7. I have essentially been wearing pajamas for over a week now. Finally making use of all these Tshirts. 8. More disdain about what a pitiful white-guys-doing-world music-watered-down-nonsense act the Chili Peppers have become. George Clinton should slap the shit out of Anthony Keidis.
