Noon, Sunday January 4, 2015. Our bedroom. me - Honey, wake up, somebody just rang the doorbell. her - gets up, lets the dogs out, answers the door, comes back to the bedroom. Its the Hulans. Theyre here to shovel our driveway. me - What???? starts to cry, gets in shower, cries harder. With Kevin Fowler Dacey in Halifax, my cut-off finger, Elaines hand surgery less than a week ago, Mary-Lou Hulan hauled her family here after church so they could do our shovelling. Thank you to her, Gregory Hulan, Meg Hulan and Chris Hulan for all that work and the great visit. With much self-doubt coming at me from all corners the last little while, how heartwarming to see such a true expression of friendship. Much love Hulans!!!
