Nostalgia has no substitute, for memories are precious and priceless. The small town in the western Odisha named Burla, will always be close to my heart. I have spent 25 years of my life there. Nothing beats the flavour of the place wherein you spent your childhood. kai baar achanak yuhi kuch bachpan ki baatein yaad aa jaata hai and I go back in time. I see myself paddling my bicycle on those kaccha roads of Burla. Sadak ke us chorr se aati hui vah bail-gaadi with hay (it is called Puaal in Odiya) on it. Climbing up the jaamun and guava tree to get those fruits and eat them raw. In such a remote town, where catching a glimpse of a helicopter in the sky used to be a big thing but seeing a sky full of stars in the night was usual (how things have changed now!). Oh I miss that time. I wish I could go back in yesterday.
