Not Loving Yourself.. You are worthy, not worthless. You have value in the eyes of God. You are supposed to be a loving person…loving toward God, loving toward others, and loving toward yourself. In the Christian life, you can easily be deceived into thinking self-hatred or self-dislike is acceptable or even desirable because you are a sinner. The Lord said in, 1 John 4:19 We love because he first loved us. However, you are supposed to love and respect yourself, just as Christ loves and respects you. For all the sins, mistakes and errors you make, God forgives you. Consequently, God wants you to forgive yourself. To not love yourself because you are imperfect cancels out what God has given you in terms of His forgiveness. Self-love is not anti-God or anti-Christian. Jesus is Lord Pastor Rubin Wilson
