Not every experience youve had in church is bad people. Despise not where you started nor those that have helped you along the journey. We have a tendency to frown and curse things and people that have been blessings to us throughout our walk in life. Example , Ive been using a certain machine for our business that is a few years old and a little outdated compared to the newer technology available in the industry. After 2 years of using the heck out of this machine I started experiencing some problems. I caught myself cursing the thing that has been such a huge blessing for me and others. As I began looking at newer machines my attitude started despising the machine I had. Ive since modified my machine to perform the way I need it to. Ive also realized that this attitude I had towards something that really benefited me is the same attitude many people have when it comes to them hearing and receiving a newer revelation or a different perspective especially when it comes to the things of God. Im sure you can remember times throughout your life (in church) that were pivotal or life changing to you. Times of Joy and intimacy with others that you fellowship with. Even though your not there now in your understanding you cant tell me you never experienced any bliss. I guess what Im saying is guard your heart from this attitude of cursing or looking down on those or that which have been in your life and have helped and blessed you along the way. Your where your at today because of certain moments and encounters youve had in your past.
