Not my words, but this expresses my sentiments exactly. Thanks for posting, Annie Bee: Ive been doing a lot of thinking. I realized that all of my choices have led me to exactly where I am today. When I look back there are some choices that I could have made differently and maybe they werent always the best choices. But regardless the choice was mine and I’m grateful for the learning I experienced because of it. You may not like the choices Ive made or agree with the choice I made. And I’m ok with that. The path that I walk, the path I chose was a direct result of all the choices Ive made in my life thus far. No one can make choices for us because each one of us is walking our own path. Others may never understand the journey we are undertaking. And to inflict your choice on another is to deny that person their own individuality. Each one of us is a completely unique individual, a completely unique soul. There will never be another person like us. We all have different beliefs, values, thoughts, experiences, and we all perceive the world differently. All our experiences shape us as individuals and in turn influence the choices we make. It’s our differences make us individuals. Therefore they should be celebrated and embraced, even if we don’t understand them. If we embrace the differences in others maybe that would give us an opportunity to learn something that from them. If we are able to do this we would be able to grow in an infinite amount of ways.
