Not only does little Grace have a proud and protective big brother to watch over her, but Henry the puppy dog is never far away either. Snuck into the room and onto the bed this morn and hasnt taken his eyes off her. He was the same with Hudson - always hanging around outside Huddys door when he cried. What a beautiful dog. Still lost in newborn land - a land of breastfeeding (and its highs and lows), washing lines filled with pretty pink outfits, watching Grace sleep, and teeny tiny nappies. Im loving it here. I wasnt always sure Id be blessed with a second child, so to have such beautiful gift in baby Gracie - Im not taking a minute of it for granted. Sure, work and business and being able to pay the bills and fulfill your passion is important, but Ill never get this period back, so Im taking time. Time to learn to be a family. Time with my big boy and my baby girl. Time with my husband - the most amazingly supportive man and doting daddy. So, Ill be AWOL for a while. Some days I might pop my head up, some days I might not. I pinch myself so many times a day - wow, just wow! We have had a tough year or two. Ive struggled on many, many levels. But I feel like it has all lead us here, to this supremely happy place. Life has taken the most beautiful turn for our family. And thats why Im going to stay here for a while and soak it up. Hope thats okay with you all! A x
