Just a reminder friends that we never know who is watching our lives or who we are having an impact on. Many times we never hear about our influence, or the difference our Christian walk has made in someones life. I am sharing this story, not to toot Daves horn, but to glorify God and to encourage you to carry on. Tonight we got a call from Daves great uncle Giuseppe who is dying of heart failure in Boston. Before he passed away he wanted to share with Dave and all of his family members in the room the story of his salvation. It all came about because in 1997, his brother Louie made contact with his long lost grandson David, who was a struggling Christian but was doing his best to honor and serve God. Over the years Davids faith and trust in God had such a profound impact on Louies life that he went back to NY, accepted Christ and in turn impacted the life of his brother Giuseppe. Giuseppe later gave his life to Christ, introduced his kids and grandkids and testified tonight that he feels like a young kid ready to run into the arms of his Heavenly Father. Tonight he asked Dave to pray a prayer for him and for his family before he passed. Dave was able to pray a beautiful prayer of praise and blessing and considered it such a privilege and honor. Wow! God is so good!
