Wed like to give a clear insight as to why we are here and what we are doing- September last year this page was set up for many different reasons, to help players find teams, teams find players, arrange friendlies, make contact and helping each other with info and advice. . As youve probably noticed over the year it has grown dramatically and demands became more and more and higher and higher. . What became apparent was that 100s of people wanted the same issues removed from grassroots football. . Things like sideline bullying, aggressive phrases towards children higher level of respect shown and more. . It was fantastic to hear that so many people were in it for the children. . Unfortunately people felt there was no where to turn and had asked what can be done about this? .. This is where GRF came into action.. There was a demand for such network to work together to improve the playing environment. . With the GRF logo comes a message. . The message is together we wont stand for this anymore and not on our turf the message is also to say we want to Improve the learning/playing environment for children and we are in this for the childrens development .. This is to be worn with pride. .. As you can see from this we are able to put back into grassroots football. . Since this launched in September this year it has enabled us to sponsor 2 teams and kit them out. . Give away starter kits to get teams off the ground and sooooo many other items such as team beanies, scarfs individual items etc. .. . We have also helped teams with the pass it on scheme, we also run the ref of the month award and GRF Unsung Hero awards, we have also got up and running the xmas Toy Appeal.. As well as all the other info thats needed daily on the page. . This is what weve managed within 2 months, next year will see so many other things coming. . We have events coming up next year to help within grassroots we have other projects also being worked on behind the scenes due to the info you are all giving. Now I appreciate that sometimes not everyone will want this or agree with what we do. . I appreciate that sometimes discussions on the page can seem negative. . What I will say is we are not only here to promote all thats positive within grassroots from children to the amazing volunteers. . But we are here to highlight the issues also. . Solutions cant be suggested or formed if issues are brushed under the carpet and hidden. . This doesnt help the Children in any way shape or form. Nor are we here to go against any leading organisations, leagues etc. . We want to work together with these people as our core aim is the childrens development. Yes we ruffle feathers at times but if it improves grassroots football and raises awareness then thats how it has to be. . We are here for the duration.... We will continue to show support and provide support. . We will continue to release new products and new awards Which will come with giveaways.. and as many of you may know I am always here to listen to you when your upset, angry, frustrated etc ( no one ever sees that side as its via inbox but I always listen to so many) we want you to feel valued and supported and are very grateful for all the support so far. . Like I say we are here for the duration. . Love us or hate us for what we do but we will continue to strive forward as its passion that drives us .. We believe that by standing together as one there is no reason at all why issues should be happening on such a large scale. .. Thank you for your time reading this. .
