Not sure why my TV is full of Oscar Pistorius news? Appalled as I am at what he did, I am not entirely convinced that this particular case warrants all this air time? a) A man/special olympic athlete in another country shoots his partner through a bathroom door, claims he thought she was an intruder .. in the bathroom? b) The lead detective Hilton Botha is up on 7 murder charges stemming from 2011 ..seriously?? Had to let that sink in WTH? c) Pistorius claims he walked to the bathroom to shoot the intruder on his stumps with out his blades .. (have nothing on that, possible I guess at 3am) d) Syringes and 2 boxes of testosterone stuff found in home - (possible roid rage?) e) Bloodied Cricket Bat - I dont even have enough energy to cover this one? The tragedy is the young woman who lost her life and her family left behind to grieve and pick up the pieces. Curious as some of these facts are snd there are a lot more I think this story claims too much airtime. No doubt we will via the networks, revisit this all again in the documentary/movie coming to our screens soon. *sigh*
