Not that I need to explain anything to anyone because really no one knows me or my life, but I think just a little bit of rant is needed here. I have been a UK fan since I was about six or seven years old because my dad (Elzie) always had me watch UKBasketball and Cincinnati Reds baseball with him. I grew up with a passionate love for both of these teams. I have cried over games that most people didnt even know about and to be honest, have been so upset over games and mean things that people say, particularly about UK, to the point that I have thrown up... Yeah, it is true. And yes, I have been disappointed in this years team and previous teams and I do think there are things that need to be different. I voice my opinion because that is who I am. Having said all of this, I am sick to death of seeing all these comments about people not being a true Kentucky fan because of this or that. I may not have money to go to their games or pay to see them in person or I may not agree with everything that happens in UK basketball, but I am a true fan and there isnt a more true thing that I can tell you about me.... And I never cheered on another team last year when the Cats didnt do so well, either. Sorry for the rant... I just felt like I needed to say this. Thank you for your time!
