Not to be repetitive here, but I am going to be...I am on a mission to raise the funds for this worthy goal. I have commitments from folks for more funds, but that wont put me over my goal. Like I said, this one is very personal to me. A good friend, who is a coworker, is battling non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Ive watched him over the last four years since he learned of his illness, I was one of the first he told, and he started chemo last April. His spirit never waivers, he no longer works, but stays in close contact with us, readily answering our questions about the work he once did, that we do now. His absence created a void that is not easily replaced when a thirty year employee leaves. It pains me to no end. Id climb these damn stairs barefoot on broken glass with a pack on my back if I thought it cure him. But all I can do is wait in line among many others and climb them once.
