Not too long ago I used to think that Obama just plain and simple hated America. I was already convinced that he hated us, the average middle class, freedom-loving American citizen. But now, there has been a change of heart. Obama really does love America. Of course, the actual America that Obama is really in love with is more an America that exists only in his mind or is only accessible due to his privileged status as president. A perfect exmple of this can be seen in how Obama spent his Labor Day weekend. He started things off with his weekly address. This is normally Obama’s time to try and connect with middle class America, although I doubt that it has ever really been a strong connection. This time, it actually started out innocently enough. In fact, you might have even thought you were listening to Obama doing an impersonation of a Conservative. Seriously. He even praised American enterprise including all the hard work, responsibility, sacrifice, and looking out for one another that this displays. I guess he was pandering a bit since he knew it was Labor Day and this is the kind of thing that is expected of a sitting President. Or maybe he was just getting warmed up for the Communist half of his speech. After starting out on such a high note, emphasizing values which all of us could agree on, he took a turn for the dark side, as any good leftist Commie in disguise will do. Actually, I take that back, I do not think many of his ultra left-wing political friends would agree with the ideals of hard work and sacrifice. And probably not responsibility either. As Obama got warmed up, he basically said that everyone is entitled to a number of things. These include high wages, maximum education, your own house, secure retirement, and health care (of course). Of course, there was no mention of who would provide all the cold, hard, cash this will entail. I suppose after all tis is why we have the government teat that Obama has been massaging into such a large mound in an effort to take care of everyone. During his speech, Obama actually acknowledged that it is not oging to be easy to accomplish all of this. No, indeed. According to the President there are a number of forces which have conspired for decades against working Americans. He also continued with the need for Washington to come together in an effort to keep the economy growing and gaining strength. Don’t you find it very interesting that it is not us Americans that need to ‘come together,’ but rather ‘Washington’ that needs to do all this. This is a key statement that I think accurately reflects Obama’s mindset and his outlook. You see, it is not about us. It is about the government grabbing more and more power and more and more dollars from everyone in order to fund all of these things. Anyone who has been watching the disturbing trend in the growth of government should really not need further convincing. Obama is certainly NOT the president of the working American. He has spent his entire time in office trying to setroy the economy rather than to build it back up. The government, in order to be a help at this point, should simply get out of our lives as much as possible. Next week, Obama travels to Los Angeles to attend a $32,400 a plate fundraising event in Hollywood. Yes, definitely the President for all the ‘common people.’ But, of course, those same common people will be footing the bill for Obama to take his big government provided plane. And lets not forget that while out in LA, our wonderful POTUS will deliver a speech to one of his favorite liberal groups, the AFL-CIO, which is now almost totally infested with liberal and Communist ideology. God, PLEASE Help America. The majority are too stupid to see what this socialist traitor is doing to us all.
