Note: Closing Casey Clipper Goodreads Author Page After a couples months of debating before I took action, Ive decided to shut down my Goodreads Author Page. There have been some issues Ive had to deal with over the past couple months that frankly no author should have to tolerate, let alone one like myself, who doesnt have a staff to handle certain situations and be a buffer. Choosing to become an author and publish my material automatically opens my work up for subjective opinions. I accept that. But what I cannot tolerate, and have to protect my own sanity from, is the troll, bully, and deliberate meanness from not only readers but now authors, who are supposed to be supportive of one another in this rough business. Therefore, for the time being, I will be closing my Goodreads Author Page. Now that doesnt mean I wont open it again in the future, but for now, I see no reason to willingly subject myself further. Instead of having Goodreads paperback giveaways, Ill utilize my Facebook author page, my website, and my newsletter to offer paperback copies on new releases that Id normally offer on GR to those who follow me on this page. I believe youll still be able to rate my novels on Goodreads, you just wont find a detailed author page for me or be able to message me through that site. Thats all right, you can always message me here. :-) By the end of this weekend, I will be deleting my page. THANK YOU all for following me here, on my website, through my newsletter, and wherever else you may follow. And especially THANK YOU for your unwavering support!
