Nother pome for today. I wrote this a good little while ago. I hope you enjoy it! Morning - by me I love the way the morning mist Holds fast upon the hills The trees in silhouette stand stark The moment now stands still The air about my face and hands Its touch is cool and crisp A gentle stir upon my cheek The breeze now just a wisp And though my day has just begun With chores that must be done Ill pause and take a moment here Before the rising sun The promise of a brand new day And with what lies ahead Ill keep this moment to myself And lock it in my head The neighbors barn, its lights now on Seems like a small oasis As I must run and head to work And leave my favorite places Ill stumble through my curious tasks The rushing of the hour But time to time Ill close my eyes And think of mornings power
