Nothing lasts forever, not even your troubles Arnold H Glasow (By Bro Bosun) Arnold Glasow was an American who died at the age of 93, his business was an unusual one that many of us tend to shy away from. He was into publishing humour magazines and he did this for 60 years before he died in 1998. He was known for his encouraging quotes and friendly disposition. Joking, motivating, making friends, being generally humorous and making sure people you meet in your lifetime can identify you by the imprint you leave with them. Did you leave the person who stepped on your foot by mistake with a smile and a quiet dont worry about it, lm fine or how did you make friends in a gathering of people youve never met before ? Having a positive, polite and humorous outlook is not only an important trait to have. Also a Godly nature. Understand that even when your going through your paces and your able to use your faith in Christ to overcome, you not only build yourself, you also build and strengthen the people around you. Seeing the funny side of a unsettling experience can help to break barriers whilst loving people who we have never met before is a great gift, loving and tending to those who need our positive aura to unlock their worries, is in itself a fruit of our acceptance of Christs work in us daily. Accepting Christ as your Lord and Saviour should not be looked at as an imprisonment of frigidness but rather we need to understand its an unleashing of Gods nature in you and spreading this to whoever we are blessed to come across. My prayer this today is for you to come across somebody new and sow a seed of calmness in their life, by silencing the storm raging in them through them seeing the nature of christ in you. Amen
