November 2013 Cub Scout Pack 323 Newsletter November 2nd, Saturday-Entire Pack in their class As put out Scouting for Food bags. Meet at First Presbyterian Church @ 9am. November 2nd, Saturday-Tiger Den has an outing at the Fire Dept hosted by Ben and Owen Green @ 1pm-this will earn most of the Tigers their 2-3 Bead. November 2nd, Saturday-Webelos I&II have an outing at Poverty Point and will be leaving First Presbyterian Church at 5:30. It is a Nighttime Nature Hike. The Webelos will complete some requirements for their Outdoorsman and Family Member Badges among others. Make sure you and your Cub eat before 5:30. November 5, Tues-turn in ALL popcorn sheet orders and money with them. And we will start our AVON annual fundraiser. Becky Wilkerson is our organizer this year. November 9th, Saturday, As a Pack in our Class As we will take up all the bags we put out and we will take all the food we have gathered to the Crisis Assistance Ministry and Dee Tubbs will be there to make a picture of our Pack for the newspaper... Saturday, November 9, 2013 @ 9:30am, In teaching the Wolves about Patriotism, Mrs Melissas Wolf Den(each Cub needs at least one parent/guardian to go) will be going on an outing to the Veterans Day Parade(hosted by the City of Monroe and Chennault Aviation and Military Museum). They will be leaving First Presbyterian Church between 7:00-7:30am. The Grand Marshall will be Uncle Si from Duck Dynasty along with Veteran Randell Rugg, and Rodney Alexander; State of Louisiana Veterans Affairs. The Parade will begin at Neville High School and end at the downtown River Market. The route will follow Riverside Drive and follow the river. November 14, Thursday evening at 6p-7p there will be a Pioneer District Roundtable for ALL DEN LEADERS. If you are working towards any knots for your uniform please make sure you have all the required computer leadership classes taken and copies of the certificates to Mrs Debra for credit so she can turn them in to the Council. November 19, Tuesday evening after our Pack announcements Mrs Misty and Miss Laticia will be taking their Webelos Cubs to the Loveday household for a Fire Safety class, a Bonfire and making smores. Each Cub needs to bring their own drink, a flashlight, and their jacket. November 21, Thursday evening at 6:30pm at First Presbyterian Church will be our Den Leaders Meeting. All Assistant Den Leaders are asked to come as well. We talk about what is going on in your respective dens and ways for you to continue your own personal training as well as upcoming events. November 26, Tuesday evening meeting will be cancelled due to school being out for this week. Our next meeting will be December 3, 2013
