November 25 Coffee, and heres why. I spilled my coffee down my pants leg this morning, as I was walking out the door, because my hands were full juggling everything I needed to bring. At the same instant I spilled my coffee, I felt the cold blast of the 20 degreee temperature as the door opened. At that split instant when everything happened, I was just grateful I had warm coffee to spill. I thought of the homeless friends I worked with in Asheville, just an hour down the road. On the days that little things may annoy us, I remember the song Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney sang in White Christmas- when Im worried and I cant sleep, I count my blessings instead of sheep and Ill fall asleep counting my blessings.
